Fennel Home is a textile studio for those who want to transform and elevate their spaces with hand-made decor.

Through our partnerships with artisan weavers and makers, we’ve created a collection of unique, hand-crafted textiles and accessories to make your home feel distinctive and collected. Each piece is thoughtfully designed and crafted, with the goal of creating heirlooms to last.

While our design studio is based in Northern California, our artisans are located all over the US. Read more below to discover more about who’s making your home goods.

WHY BUY FROM US?

Our homes should reflect our values. We believe in creating beautiful, ethically made products and using our resources to put good back into the world.

Our design studio is based in Northern California, in one of the communities hit the hardest by wildfires every year. One of our environmental commitments is to plant a tree in our home state with every order, to help combat the impacts of climate change. We work with One Tree Planted, who supports the reforestation of California, and across the US, to help restore endangered native species, such as the Sugar Pine. Your orders help to reduce the environmental impact of wildfires, protect our water supply, and improve our forests’ heath.

We are proud to work with small artisan makers. All our products are made by hand, and directly support people in our communities. By collaborating with US based artisans, we can work together to select materials we believe in, ensure fair working conditions, and promote personal connections.

We work hard to select sustainable and recycled packaging and shipping materials. We want to make choices in our business that reflect our personal values, which includes reducing our environmental impact. In addition to only using natural fibers in our textiles, we also use recycled tissue paper, recycled kraft tape, and natural materials for shipping. We are always looking for ways to be more conscious of our waste, so suggestions are always appreciated!

Our Founder

Christin Gregersen started her career in design after moving from Vancouver, BC to San Francisco to pursue a Masters in Interior Architecture and Design at the Academy of Art. She has worked for various interior design firms throughout the Bay Area over the last 10 years, honing her expertise and knowledge in the field, before launching her own interiors studio Christin Gregersen Design.

Christin began hand sewing her clothes in high school long before receiving her first sewing machine from her grandmother. As her skills developed, she started quilting and getting more involved in the textiles community, learning more about weaving and fabrics.

Intending to support a community of local North American artisans and makers, Christin turned her focus to creating a line of textiles and home accessories. Each piece in the collection is designed in collaboration and intentionally woven by US based hand weavers, using natural materials such as cotton, hemp, and merino wool.
